Music Director of San Francisco's Philharmonia Baroque, Nicholas McGegan makes his ASO debut in perfectly suited repertoire.
McGegan is world renowned for his exuberant performances which combine great enthusiasm with scholarship. He conducts Andrew Foster-Williams in arias featuring both heroes and anti-heroes by Handel and Mozart.
Mozart's genius closes the concert with his late and dark-hued Symphony No 40.
