Remember the adventures of disciples Monkey, Pigsy and Sandy and their
search for scriptures with the Buddhist monk? On their perilous journey
from China to the west they fight a bevy of demons including White-bone
and Spider Demon, Ox Monster and Iron-fan Princess and
persevere through hardships to gain immortal life and happiness.
The highly acclaimed Guangzhou Acrobatic Troupe of China bring the
legend of the Monkey King to life in an extraordinary acrobatic adaptation
of one of China's most famous novels written by Wu Cheng'en over 400
years ago.
Featuring 60 performers on stage, Journey to the West is an awe-inspiring
acrobatic spectacular for the whole family.
Suitable for all patrons aged 8 years and over.
The Adelaide Festival Centre Carpark is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with regular security patrols. |
