Join some of Australia's finest and boldly original chamber music groups in a beautiful intimate setting surrounded by the OzAsia Festival's Following Threads exhibition.

Curated by Gabriella Smart, Artistic Director of Soundstream Contemporary Music Ensemble, this eclectic concert series promises transcendent beauty for your senses and soul.

Ethereal sounds to move the spirit.

Jouissance: 9 October
Sharing a fascination with the mysticism, ensuality and rapture found in the works of Hildegard of Bingen, Peter Abelard and the Byzantine Rite, these musicians engage with ancient traditions through their own experience: from New Complexity to Minimalism, from Japanese Zen to Jazz-Rock crossover, from Blues and Ethnic music to all forms of Opera.

Trio d'anche Suave & Gabriella Smart: 11 October

Based in Switzerland, Trio d'anche Suave return to Adelaide following their triumphant Australian debut in the 2008 Adelaide Contemporary Music Festival. The trio combine flawless virtuosity with refined emotional intelligence in their performance. Performing a program of contemporary chamber music reflecting the scope and depth of their Asian heritage, including three Australian premieres.
With special guest Gabriella Smart.

On the Wings of a Butterfly: 17 October

Featuring a combination of Eastern and Western musical idioms and instrumental colour, On the Wings of a Butterfly reflects the harmony between people and their cultures.
Ros Bandt (Medieval Psaltery, Balinese suling) and Le Tuan Hung (dan tranh ? Vietnamese Zither) have been crossing the East West terrain together for many years, exploring the essence of Eastern and Western ideas and touring extensively throughout Australia and Indonesia.
