Not surprisingly the guitar is the instrument of choice for many songwriters.
Two talented award winning songwriters and accomplished guitarists, Lior and Jesse Harris, perform some of their favourite compositions and songs with Jesse joined by his band and Lior with a luscious string quartet. Sydney-based Lior has become known for his distinctive allure and enchanting musical arrangements since his successful debut album Autumn Flow. He comes to the Guitar Festival hot on the heels of his Edinburgh Festival performance.
Jesse Harris struck compositional gold with his No. 1 smash hit for Norah Jones, Don't Know Why. His other songs have been recorded by Cat Power, Bright Eyes, Black Keys, Emmylou Harris and Willie Nelson.
