Bass guitar takes the spotlight.

Bass players be proud, stand tall and be counted.

This concert pays tribute to the instrument that changed the way music is played and sounds. The transformation of the upright bass to the electric bass guitar offered a bigger sound that audiences couldn't miss. Bass and drums together could now offer a solid foundation that is legendary in rock, funk, soul and electric blues. The first bass guitar was revolutionary - take the time to honour the four strings.
