Explore the art and simplicity of guitar and voice and the individual song writing journeys of local singer/songwriter, Cal Williams Jr and USA singer/songwriter Shawn Mullins, in what will be an intimate and emotive evening of storytelling and unique compositions.

Mullins' performance will include music from his 2008 release, Honeydew as well as previous album releases. His work features vibrant, character-driven songs based on places he's travelled through and people he has come across. Mullins, a platinum-plus record selling artist, has also received a Grammy nomination for his work.

Blues Album of the Year winner and three times South Australian Songwriter of the Year, Cal Williams Jr has been described as one of Australia's finest slide blues guitarists and a gifted songwriter.

While stylistically different from each other, both are tremendously strong songwriters and storytellers and their work is incredibly personal and mesmerising. Expect an evening of intimate and raw musical literature.
