Some of the greatest Indian music masters of their generation, led by sitar star Purbayan Chatterjee, have come together to create the Shastriya Syndicate.
Drawing on the rich cultural heritage from both the North and South of the Indian subcontinent, their music remains pure to its heritage yet is able to fuse both traditions to create a fresh and inspiring sound. In their quest for symmetry these seven global ambassadors with their exotic ancient instruments have cleverly captured the flavours and colours that have enraptured audiences for thousands of years.
