Welcome to Something on Saturday for 2009!
After another record breaking year in 2008 we are excited to bring you a bumper 2009 Something on Saturday season.
This year we kick off with The Funkees and end on a musical high with Adelaide Voices, who join our season for the first time. SOS is also excited to bring a very special theatre company from Melbourne to present The Grimstones, which is a magical, gothic fairytale told with giant books, beautiful old-world marionettes, and sign language. We are sure this will be just one of the many season highlights.
To cater for demand, there are several weeks this year where there will be 3 performances per day. We are extending the duration of our craft workshops for those weeks so that no matter what performance time you choose, you can still come to the workshop
Thank you to National Pharmacies for your continued support, and this year we are excited to announce the Adelaide Festival Centre Foundation (our fundraising body) is funding the Kids Craft Workshops. These invaluable sponsors have enabled us to continue to provide a quality program at the same prices as 2008.
See you at Something on Saturday this year!
