Be transported to 1920s Paris and the curious world of composer Erik Satie. A composer of popular songs, ballets and music for the piano, who spent his days meeting and drinking with friends such as Debussy, Picasso and Cocteau.
This affectionate tribute in music, song and text to one of the fathers of cabaret will be performed by Various People Inc's Cheryl Pickering and Richard Chew joined by actor Graeme Rose in Satie's crowded, curious attic room.
Humorous, surreal and deeply moving.
"...artistic, theatrical, funny, tender."
