Children In Theatres

All patrons including children require a valid ticket to access Adelaide Festival Centre venues.  However in some circumstances, children aged under 1 year may be admitted to Adelaide Festival Centre venues without a ticket and free of charge, in which case they will be required to sit on a parent or guardian’s lap for the duration of the performance. This policy may vary particularly for performances programmed for children, where a ticket may be required for admission of all children.

In all circumstances children must be supervised by an adult. If a child is allowed access to an Adelaide Festival Centre venue and causes a disturbance or distraction to other patrons, Adelaide Festival Centre staff may request that the accompanying adult remove the child from the venue.
