Terms and Conditions of Entry
1. Method of Entry
To be entered into the draw an individual person must complete the Help us give you the arts you want! brochure with their contact details and event preferences, and return via post. Or, update details their contact details and event preferences online at www.bass.net.au
2. Duration of Promotion
This competition will run from 9am, Friday 26 October 2012 until 5pm, Sunday 30 June 2013.
3. Name of Promoter
The promoter is Adelaide Festival Centre Trust (ABN 90 940 220 425) of King William Road, Adelaide South Australia 5000, Tel 08 8216 8600.
Residents of Victoria and ACT are ineligible to enter.
The prize will be drawn at 12pm on Wednesday 3 July 2013 at the Adelaide Festival Centre, King William Road Adelaide, 5000. The winner will be drawn using a random manual draw.
6. Prize Details
The grand prize winner will receive:
- Return economy flights for two to New York (from Adelaide)
- 4 nights accommodation at a four star hotel
Total prize value $6500
*Please note this prize does NOT include airport transfers. The flight and accommodation is for the winner and their guest.
All prize values are the recommended retail value in Australian dollars and are correct at time of printing. The Promoter takes no responsibility for variations in the prize value.
7. Prize Conditions
All prizes are subject to availability, non transferable and not exchangeable, and must be used on the dates specified by the Promoter. Prizes are not redeemable for cash.
Prize winners must make contact with Pat Palumbo at Phil Hoffmann Travel Glenelg office within 30 days of the prize being drawn on PH:8350 5731 or the prize may be deemed void. Travel prizes are to be booked no later than 3 months prior to travel. Prize to be redeemed within 12 months of being drawn. Prizes are subject to availability at time of booking and black out dates apply with in high travel seasons. Extensions, alterations and upgrades are subject to availability and at winners own expense.
Travel prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash, traveller’s cheques, foreign currency or other credit. Items of a personal nature including travel insurance and levies are not included. Flights are in economy class only up to booking class V and return from Adelaide only.
Bookings are subject to Phil Hoffmann Travel Schedule of Professionalism.
The Promoter will not be responsible or liable if for any reason beyond their reasonable control any element of any prize is not provided. The Promoter may, subject to State regulations, substitute a different prize of equivalent value in place of any prize referred to in these terms and conditions.
8. Publication and Notification of Winner
The competition will be promoted by inclusion in the direct mail of Season 2013 Adelaide Festival Centre brochure, signage at Adelaide Festival Centre, on the Promoter’s Adelaide Festival Centre website www.adelaidefestivalcentre.com.au and BASS website www.bass.net.au , via newsletters, electronic and direct mail letters.
Winner will be notified via phone, email and post.
Winner will be published on the Promoter’s BASS website, www.bass.net.au
9. Publicity materials
It is a condition of entry that the Promoter has the right to publicise, broadcast and communicate to the public the names, characters, likeness and voice of any entrants for any promotion or matter incidental to the Promotion.
Entrants may be required by the Promoter to participate in any photo, recording, video and/or film session(s) (the “publicity materials”) and acknowledge that the Promoter has the right to use such publicity materials in any medium (including the internet) and in any reasonable manner it sees fit, unless that person advises the Promoter at the time of entering the Promotion that he/she wishes to retain his/her anonymity.
10. Release and indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, all entrants release from, and indemnify the Promoter against all liability, cost, loss or expense arising out of acceptance of any prize(s) or participation in the Promotion including (but not limited to) loss of income, loss of opportunity, personal injury and damage to property, whether direct or consequential, foreseeable, due to some negligent act or omission or otherwise.
11. Decisions Final
All decisions and actions of the Promoter relating to the Promotion and/or redemption of the prizes are exercised at its absolute discretion and are final. No discussions or correspondence with entrants or any other person will be entered into.
12. Late entries
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any incorrectly submitted, incomplete, late, lost or misdirected entries or for any technical malfunction of any communications network.
